Introduction
ETC, global leader in enrichment technology, is growing fast. Not only in the Netherlands but also in Germany, England, France and America. To make this growth possible and the responsibility that comes with it we are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager. As a Corporate Tax Manager you will work closely with the Accounting and Controlling team. Both teams are based in Almelo and Germany; the cooperation between these teams is particularly good as is the willingness to transfer knowledge to new colleagues.
You will be stationed in Almelo and will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Because of the international character you are willing to travel from time to time to other sites, in particular to Germany and the UK; this strengthens the connection and cooperation with colleagues located on other sites. For this role it is very important that you are a strong sparring partner for the CFO, your (direct) colleagues and external stakeholders.

As a Corporate Tax Manager you are responsible for all tax planning and compliance issues for the group. The main focus is on all tax issues arising from cross-border transactions (specifically in the countries UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and US). More specifically the tasks and responsibilities include:
- Overview and control of the Group tax position;
- Monitor tax compliance in the various countries and pro-actively identify and manage risks;
- Performing tax planning for tax optimization for all five countries and on group level;
- Liase with accounting department, review and complete tax packages and monitor and control tax declarations;
- Design, maintain and implement Tax Control Framework;
- Supports Finance Managers with local tax issues;
- Managing and documenting Transfer Pricing (including APA’s);
- Cooperate with and support the corporate team in the budgeting, business planning and consolidation process for taxes;
- Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, such as shareholder tax departments, tax authorities and tax advisors.
Your profile
The ideal candidate has:
- University degree, preferably tax economics;
- At least 10 years of international tax experience, preferably including industry;
- Strong international corporate tax knowledge;
- Affinity with accounting and reporting.
Besides:
- You are familiar with accounting (IFRS/HGB) and tax reporting preferably in a SAP environment;
- Your analytical skills are key and VAT experience is a strong plus;
- You are self-starting and hands-on; result and team-oriented;
- You have the willingness to support colleagues;
- You are diplomatic, integer and immune to stress;
- You master the English language and preferably German as well.
