Introduction
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our corporate IT team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future IT architecture of our organization. You will be working in a complex environment with two strictly separated IT infrastructures — one highly regulated and air-gapped, the other connected to the internet. The current setup is almost entirely on-premise, with a significant number of legacy systems and custom-developed applications. Your responsibility includes both defining a future-proof architecture and supporting its implementation across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze the current IT landscape with a focus on distributed on-premise systems, legacy platforms, and in-house software
- Design a holistic, secure, and sustainable target architecture tailored to both isolated and internet-facing environments
- Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and blueprints, ensuring compatibility between segregated systems where necessary
- Collaborate closely with business units, software development, infrastructure teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with the enterprise architecture
- Support and lead modernization and migration projects from planning to execution
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and hybrid/cloud strategies while respecting regulatory and security constraints
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, translating complex IT requirements into strategic decisions
Your profile
- Several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, IT Architect, or in a comparable strategic IT role
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex IT architectures, preferably in regulated or security-critical environments
- Experience with air-gapped systems, network segmentation, hybrid infrastructures, and legacy system modernization
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, as well as governance and compliance standards
- Strong technical background in infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and system integration
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills — able to bridge technical and business perspectives
- Experience working with distributed teams and international stakeholders is a plus
- Willingness for frequent traveling between our sites
