Cross Border Talents is seeking an EPLAN Engineer for a client based in the Netherlands.
The Technology & Development department is responsible for the specification, design, and engineering of high-tech / precision modules. This department comprises various competency groups, including Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Software, and Project Management. We focus on specifying, designing, developing, and qualifying professional products within multidisciplinary project teams with low responsibility levels.
Given the multidisciplinary nature of the projects, your responsibilities will be broad and significant.
The client’s Technology & Development environment is unique, project-based, and focused on high-tech mechatronic systems, integrating product development and realization.
Requirements
- In our high-tech machine development projects, you will be responsible for writing project specifications, creating electrical schematics, generating BoM lists, designing 3D cabinet layouts, and producing product documentation.
- This work will primarily be done in EPLAN P8, collaborating with other engineers. You will also route cables in 3D using Siemens NX and serve as the first contact for questions related to (field) service and technical support.
- You will work closely with electronic architects, designers, suppliers, and colleagues from other disciplines such as mechanics and mechatronics. Your responsibilities include:
- Review electronic designs, specifications, and requirements of electronic modules and systems.
- Develop, improve, and ensure adherence to procedures and workflows.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and work directly on projects.
