As an IT Application Engineer, you are responsible for the support of our commercial applications, ensuring optimal performance, alignment with business needs, and effective collaboration across department.Key responsibilitiesResponsible for analyzing customer requirementsResponsible for the administration of purchased applications; Maintain, support, and update software applications; Actively participate in the selection, evaluation, and implementation of new applications; Contribute to the harmonization and standardization of purchased applications across the organization; Coordinate and align requirements for commercially purchased software applications with internal departments (customizing); Pick up, coordinate, andresolve 2nd and 3rd line support incidents, including processing support tickets; Provide consulting and application support to domestic and international departments; Participate in international IT projects; Collaborate with external partners (e.G. manufacturers and consultants) in the implementation of larger projects; Support employees in theeffective use of applications, including providing training where required; Contribute to the consolidation and simplification of IT processes and systems, establishing standard solutions; Create and maintain German and English user documentation within the scope of responsibilities.Your profileCompleted degree in computer science, completed vocational training as an application development specialist, or equivalent qualificationYou have experience in working with Microsoft 365 (e.G. 365 Fundamentals) and Low-code software; You have experience in application and database developmentIf you have knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, that would be a bonus; Eagerness to stay technologically updated and evaluate and implement the benefits of modern solutions for the companyGood written and spoken English skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationallyHow we help you growBesides the fact that our organization is growing strongly, we think it is important that you continue to develop.
