We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and strategically minded sales professional to take on the role of Key Account Manager. You will focus on developing and growing your portfolio and commercial relationships with our trade partners in your designated region. You should possess exceptional sales and customer service skills, along with the commercial acumen to drive growth across TTV, margin, and room nights. Working alongside our Strategic Account Managers, Sales Executives, and other internal stakeholders, you will aim to meet your targets and have a good industry knowledge with an eye towards acquisition.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Analyze client productivity to identify new opportunities for growth in TTV, OM, and revenue to exceed targets.
  • Drive client acquisition activities.
  • Develop relationships with key travel agent partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and other internal teams to align strategies.
  • Negotiate, implement, and monitor the performance of commercial agreements.
  • Represent the company at client conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Participate in strategy planning, reporting, and customer relationship management.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams and external clients.
  • Conduct on-site sales calls with your portfolio of travel agent partners, including overnight stays if necessary.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with assigned clients, achieving targets.
  • Engage regularly with clients to strengthen relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Serve as the main contact point for clients interacting with Hotelbeds.
  • Continuously analyze client performance to increase sales and prevent churn.
  • Generate new business opportunities by promoting new products, destinations, and markets.
  • Drive sales and profitability through proactive portfolio management.
  • Focus on the growth and development of existing clients.
  • Identify and assess clients’ critical needs.
  • Ensure correct and maximized product distribution according to master distribution rules.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably with a degree.
  • Fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Good presentation skills, both creation and delivery, comfortable speaking to groups.
  • Commercially astute and analytical.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Salesloft, Salesforce, and industry contacts are advantageous. Understanding of APIs and technical concepts is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Understanding of profitability principles.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience in the travel industry, preferably retail.
  • Experience managing multiple client projects.
  • At least 2 years working with budgets and targets.
  • Experience in driving profitability is advantageous.
