About the position:

You will be responsible for operation (80%) and development (20%) of this location to ensure the delivery of products will meet our quality requirements on agreed delivery date to our customers (internal or external) in a safe way and with optimized eficiency. As Site Manager you will create an environment in line with our Mid Term Plan and legal and juridical correct framework.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Budget & manage production of plastic products and drive continuous manufacturing improvements and responsible for capacity planning
  • Responsible for ESH efforts by creating the right environment where employee safety comes first by driving improvements and ensure a complete and comprehensive written Safety Plan is in place
  • Creating high quality working environment and supporting the Quality manager in the areas of Quality planning and implementation
  • Assure that established standards of quality, accuracy and performance are maintained, directing corrective measures when necessary
  • Review employee performance and efficiency ratings, approve hire, termination, transfer and promotion, and work with the operations- and HR-management to develop on-going training programs.
  • Manage the employee´s to maximize efficiency and profitability of operations
  • In coordination with Sales develop new products in order to generate new business
  • Oversee the planning department to improve efficiency and accuracy of manufacturing processes
  • Establish and maintain all performance measures for the manufacturing operations.
  • Support infrastructural needs, plans and programs and ensure involvement and coordination of related parties on site.
  • Ensure an organizational structure that provides the team with an overview of facts and figures to define the right tasks and programs needed to achieve our targets.
  •   Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree in an engineering discipline
  • Several years of experience in managing large manufacturing operation (plastics/chemical Industry preferred)
  • Highly experienced in Safety, Stable Operations, Continuous Improvement and Project management
  • High emphasis on standard setting and coaching, organization, thinking and communication skills to improve teams in all aspects of plant operation
  • Strong people leadership along critical success factors, KPI’s and data
  • Strong change management, negotiation and communication skills
  • hands-on and team oriented
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication in Dutch (Native) and English
