Plant Lean Manager – Pacific International Executive Search – Almelo

Pacific International Executive Search has been exclusively retained by a global industry leader in high-tech instruments and test equipment to support the recruitment of a Plant Lean Deployment Lead. With over 8,000 employees worldwide, this innovative manufacturing business is embarking on a significant transformation journey — and this role will be pivotal in driving that change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of the Lean Operating Model at the site, ensuring alignment with maturity standards and certification targets.
  • Utilize resources and standards to deliver impactful training, implement key methodologies, and adopt best practices.
  • Drive effective change management and internal communication efforts to embed the company’s culture and celebrate key milestones.
  • Facilitate learning and development initiatives to build employee capability in tools and approaches, promoting consistency and knowledge sharing across the site.
  • Identify and document lessons learned, benchmark internal improvements, and collaborate with the Director of Business Excellence to explore new areas for transformation.

Key Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years of experience leading Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on expertise in Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Lean Leadership, and Safety Programs.
  • Experience in change management roles.
  • Strong background in program and project management, with a track record of applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across diverse industries and business functions.
  • Proven ability to train, facilitate, and lead cross-functional teams, with strong people development and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven mindset and a track record of achieving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and culture.
  • Effective communicator and coach, skilled at influencing across all levels of the organization—from shop floor teams to senior leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch
