Role overview
As a Process and Sales Support Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our Sales Support team, responsible for creating and maintaining engineering packages while serving as the first point of contact for technical queries. This position merges your technical expertise with a flexible approach to supporting sales engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Package Development: Create and maintain standardized and customized engineering packages for Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) installations, ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Customer Support: Act as the first-line contact for technical and commercial inquiries, providing troubleshooting and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Commissioning Coordination: Collaborate with customers and the internal team to coordinate commissioning activities, resolving operational challenges at Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP).
- Training Delivery: Provide on-site and off-site training on our technology to end customers and OEM partners, fostering strong relationships.
- Sales Engineering Contributions: Prepare technical designs and commercial offers to enhance the sales team’s effectiveness and contribute to technical aspects of sales proposals.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience with MBR installations; experience with flat sheet ultrafiltration (UF) membranes is a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of MBR systems, including design engineering and biological aspects.
- Proven experience in supporting commissioning activities and collaborating effectively with teams and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing technical support and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for on-site support and customer interactions.
