Tasks and responsibilities:
As Site Manager, you are ultimately responsible for all activities at the site. You provide direct leadership to the site management team and ensure that all disciplines (including: warehouse operations, contract management, budget, automation, customs and HR) work together as efficiently as possible to achieve the best results. You will report to the Cluster Director.
- Guarantee effective and efficient operations within the overall physical operation and budgeted guidelines of the business unit;
- Manage all operational processes within SLA and contract agreements;
- Deliver efficient management of operations according to productivity and KPIs;
- Monitor 'cost versus revenue' streams and make adjustments as needed;
- Guarantee effective operational customer communication (OBR, MBR, QBR);
- Bear ultimate responsibility for the branch on budget and results, and the preparation and reporting of monthly financial results;
- Carry ultimate responsibility for the branch on QEHS, facility, security;
- Coach and inspire to get the best out of individuals and teams on a daily basis;
- Deliver thorough account management, continuously improve customer relationships;
- Ensure proactive and continuous improvement of processes, methodologies and approach in own branch.
Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with experience in a similar position in a logistics environment;
- Understand customers and markets, sense of business ethics;
- Pragmatic and can come up with creative, integrated, logistics solutions;
- Competencies: stimulates team development, results-oriented, promotes strategic change and innovation, can win people over and inspire them, independent and flexible, able to reach quick, creative, effective decision-making, driven, persuasive and able to work independently, stress-resistant.
