Your Role: Transport Manager As Transport Manager, you’ll take the lead in planning and optimizing our transport operations. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll combine strategic thinking with operational excellence. You’ll manage our own fleet and coordinate with external carriers to ensure efficient, cost-effective transport solutions. Your entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills will help drive continuous improvement and innovation within the department. What you’ll do Develop efficient route planning and schedules for drivers and equipment. Lead and support our team of drivers. Negotiate and manage relationships with external transport partners. Monitor KPIs such as fuel consumption, maintenance, and cost efficiency. Minimize empty kilometers and maximize profitability. Ensure smooth administrative processes and customer satisfaction. Contribute ideas for business development and process optimization. What we’re looking for Solid background in management and at least 5 years of experience in transport logistics. Fluent in Dutch and German (English is a plus). Strong geographical knowledge and commercial insight. Resilient, flexible, and highly responsible. Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for continuous improvement. Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative skills.
