You work in a project team and have an important rolein the concept phase of projects, this is an iterative process thatends with a proven concept. You draw up requirements and also thetest plan for a complete product or system. You are involved in aproject from start to finish and you are in constant contact withour customer together with the project leader.
Inaddition:
- You work out aconcept and draw up requirements, this can be done by means ofsimulations and building prototypes.
- You worktogether with colleagues from the mechanical and software team torealize a cost-optimal and feasible systemsolution;
- You make estimates with the projectleader for the amount of development work and the technicalrisks.
- You communicate the technical progressof projects and visit customers for technicaldiscussions.
- You will work on detailedspecifications for subsystems, you determine the architecture andyou work on verification plans. All this in collaboration with(Senior) Design Engineers from variousdisciplines.
Functie-eisen
- Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree inElectrical Engineering;
- Knowledge of otherfields such as Software and MechanicalEngineering;
- Experience in System engineeringwithin product development, specific on Racks and Cabinetsdesign;
- Knowledge on Connectivity Design Toolsas: Mentor Capital, E-plan or SiemensNX)
